What is the difference between Gel-X and Builder Gel?
Gel-X is a soft gel extension system that creates beautiful, natural-looking length, while Builder Gel (Hard Gel) is applied over your natural nails to reinforce strength and durability. Both are long-lasting and nail-friendly.
Do I need to book in advance for Nail Art?
To ensure we have the perfect technician for your desired design, we highly recommend sending us a reference photo or leaving a note when booking your appointment.

What is your late arrival or cancellation policy?
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in a rescheduled appointment to ensure quality service for all guests.
Do you offer a service guarantee?
We offer a 6-day complimentary fix policy for chips or lifting due to technical issues. Please visit us within this timeframe so our professional team can assist you.

How do you sterilize your tools?
Your health is our top priority. All metal implements are sterilized using a medical-grade autoclave. We use single-use liners for pedicures and brand-new files and buffers for every client.

What is the difference between Gel-X, Builder Gel, and Regular Gel?

Do I need to book in advance? What is your cancellation policy?
We highly recommend booking in advance to secure your spot, though we do welcome walk-ins when available. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or changes. A 15-minute grace period applies; arriving later may require rescheduling to maintain service quality for all guests.
What is your guarantee policy and accepted payment methods?
Colors Nails & Spa offers a 7-day guarantee for repairs on Gel-X and cracks due to technical issues. We accept cash, credit cards, and common digital payments. Gift certificates are also available for purchase at our salon serving Katy and Houston residents.
How do you ensure hygiene and safety in the salon?
Your safety is our priority. All metal tools are medical-grade sterilized and individually packaged. We use disposable liners for every pedicure and new files and buffers for every client. Our facility is professionally cleaned daily to maintain the highest standards.
Does complex nail art take more time?

How does Gel-X differ from traditional Acrylics?
Gel-X is a modern extension solution that is thinner and more natural-looking than Acrylics. We use pre-shaped soft gel tips applied with specialized gel to minimize damage to your natural nails.
Is Builder Gel suitable for weak nails?
Absolutely! Builder Gel provides a strong yet flexible protective layer that reinforces your natural nails, helping them grow healthy and long without breaking.
Cancellations
What is your cancellation policy?
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may incur a fee to ensure we can accommodate all our Cypress clients fairly.
What is the late arrival grace period?
We offer a 15-minute grace period. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened service or the need to reschedule to stay on time for our next guest.

Do you offer a service guarantee or credit options?
We offer a 7-day complimentary fix for any technical issues on Gel or Extension services. We accept Cash, Credit Cards, and Apple Pay. Gift Certificates are available at the salon.
